Whether it’s our sports teams grinding out victories on the pitches and fields, the inventions of our researchers, innovative new food products, the botanical prowess of our gardens or jewelry made by our students, there are so many things to be proud of at the University of Stellenbosch. And, you can find them all, right here, at the Matie Shop.

Wine from the region, branded mugs, babywear and t-shirts are all on display in our Matie Shop (which is already the new benchmark for university stores around the country) ready for you, be you tourist or Stellenboscher.

The flagship store, designed specifically for insiders like students and faculty can be found in the Neelsie. We don’t want to refer to it as ‘trendy’, ‘state-of-the-art’ or ‘lekker kiff’, but those are all accurate descriptors. Come and visit us to see for yourself!
