Through this team we coordinate all aspects of compliance to health and safety standards, risk auditing and other initiatives that keep people safe. This applies to joint programs with the Hostels, Neelsie Centre Management, Maties Milk and the Botanical Gardens, and includes inspections, auditing and planning. Security is not our game, but safety is what we provide.
We also keep people safe by ensuring their food is safe. A comprehensive food hygiene program keeps all on-campus food contractors and vendors up to scratch, so you never have to worry that ‘it might be something you ate’.
